Welcome to the Pottery Studio at 757 Makerspace

The Pottery Studio offers workshops, classes and open studio time. With fun activities to do with your friends and family in one of our hands-on beginner workshops or for those looking to develop their skills and artistic practice.

Our classes can be purchased as a series or as individual drop-in days for all skill levels and ages. If you have experience and would prefer to work on your own, we offer a membership option (24/7 access) as well as Open Studio availability (during staffed hours Wednesday – Saturday 12pm – 8pm, excluding classes, workshops and holidays). We also offer private sessions for individuals or groups.

Looking to get started, you can sign-up for classes from our events page, or come join us for a tour.

Terms and Details Explained

Membership

There is one membership at 757 Makerspace, the only difference is in how you choose to pay for it (yearly, quarterly or monthly) which we do for simplicity. This gives you 24/7 access to the space, use of tools and equipment that you are trained/cleared to use. As a member you also have access to up to 3 shelf tiers (separation boards used or not) to store your Pottery works-in-progress, tools, etc… Full access to the Pottery Studio begins once you take the Clayground Orientation one-time class.

Open Studio

Open Studios are not training or a class, it is time (during staffed hours, excluding classes/workshops/holidays) where you can come-in, sit down and work on your own hourly. Open Studio is useful for those that take classes and workshops at 757 Makerspace or who need access for a short term but not ready for a Membership. Our multi-week series of classes also have a bonus if you sign-up for all of them in the form of Open Studio Hours. Ex. Eight Week Session gives you ten hours of Open Studio time to come work in the Studio during those eight weeks. Time is logged hourly (in/out) in the binder at the Pottery Studio door/entry.

Additional Open Studio Time

Additional Open Studio Hours are available in increments of Five or Ten Hour Blocks.
